Got a wart and wish it would just go away?  Well, there are some things that most folks don't realize when they are thinking about removing a wart.  Most will opt to simply look for an over the counter medication or simply go to a dermatologist to have it frozen, burned or cut off.  The reality is that there are some natural ways to remove and/or prevent warts from even happening.

Can you get rid of warts?  The answer is you can but it isn't as cut and dry as that.  The truth is that once you have the virus, you will always have it.  The good news is that you aren't alone.  Most of the population has HPV in some way, shape or fashion.  And warts, whether they are genital warts or simply a plantar wart will surface when the immune system is compromised.

Solution to warts?  Improve your immune system.

One of the easiest ways to improve your chances of not getting warts is to eat foods that rich in vitamin C and other antioxidents.  Fruits such as oranges, kiwi fruit, mango, and papaya all have enough vitamin c to keep your immune system strong enough to battle HPV.  Red, Yellow and Orange peppers, brocolli, sweet potatoes and baked potatoes are all good options to battle warts. Other vegetables good in fighting off a wart outbreak are mushrooms, such as shiitaki, reishi and maitake and some asian countries use mushrooms as a natural wart remedy.

Don't think you have time to juice up on Vitamin C?  Take a supplement instead.  Because this vitamin is water soluable, you can take as much as you want.

What to do once you have a wart....

While it would be nice to think that you can ward off the wart virus, the reality is that the minute you get sick, you become successible for a wart outbreak.  Here are a couple natural wart remedies that are effective.

Aloe Vera is one of those natural herbal extracts that can be found in many wart removal remedies. Aloe Vera juice actually helps supplement the immune system.  And then of course, there are creams that use the plant extracts to get rid of warts.  Truth be told, most wart removal remedies that are over the counter use aloe vera as one of their natural solutions to fight warts.

Another popular method for removing warts is to us banana skins.  The concept is that the potassium will help kill the HPV infection.  The method is to place a piece of duct tape with a small piece of banana peel and tape it directly on the wart.  Some people swear by this method and say that a small wart will disappear within a week.

You Can't Remove the HPV virus..but you can control it...

There are a lot of wart removal medicines that make the claim that they will cure warts.  The reality is, just like the cold virus, you can't cure warts.  However, you can make an environment in which it is hard for warts to proliferate and grow.

Most herbal remedies deal with strengthening the immune system to help your body fight off the wart virus so that it doesn't materialize.  There are other ways that you can keep your body in tip top fighting shape....

  • A 3-day juice fasting diet once a month or every other month will help to purify the blood of toxins that we naturally build up through out our day.
  • A sensible diet plan which consists of natural food and clean water as opposed to what most of us American now regard as a normal diet.

Some Natural Methods to removing warts

There are many natural treatments that you can apply to get rid of moles. However, as with natural treatments for warts, not every treatment will work for everyone all of the time.

Hence, there is likely to be a degree of trial and error involved when you are using natural methods to get rid of your moles. But as nothing that you are about to read of is in any way invasive or potentially harmful, there is absolutely no reason why you cannot try every one of these remedies until you find one that works for you.

The first method that you could try is to use cauliflower or more specifically, cauliflower juice. Place a quantity of raw cauliflower into your kitchen blender and reduce it to a puree. There is no need to add additional liquids, as there is more than enough water in the cauliflower itself to enable you to do this.

Rub the puree on the mole that you want to clear, and you should find that after a week or two the mole will start to peel off your skin naturally.

An alternative method of getting rid of moles is to use garlic. In this case, crush the garlic with the back of a spoon so that you end up with a thick paste-like substance. Put this on to the mole that you want to remove, and cover the area with a band aid or bandage. Apply the garlic paste to the mole every night before going to bed, and remove both the bandage and the paste during the day to allow the mole to breathe. Once again, this should cause the mole to disappear after a couple of weeks.

Pineapple juice is another substance that can help to make moles go away, but it is only effective if you are using freshly squeezed pineapple juice. Juice from a can or a carton is not going to be effective, so you should squeeze fresh juice every day and apply it to the area of skin that you want cleared. Rub the juice onto the affected area on a daily basis, and you should see the offending mole begin to fade and disappear after a couple of weeks.  Instead of pineapple juice, try a combination of castor oil and honey.

Between them, these two substances will have a very similar effect to pineapple juice when applied to the area of skin that you want to clear.

Try scrubbing the appropriate skin area with extremely hot water five or six times a day, and then apply cider vinegar to the area that you are attempting to treat. Leave the cider vinegar on your skin for 10 to 15 minutes at a time and then rinse it away completely. Do this six or seven times every day for a week or more, and you should see your moles gradually disappear.  The last thing that you can try are fig stems.

Although these will not necessarily be that easy for many people to find, if you can do so, they are very effective because they contain a juice that is known to be good for removing moles.

As suggested earlier, what is going to be most effective for any individual who is trying to get rid of their moles totally naturally is something that can only be established by trial and error. However, everything you have read of in this section could be effective, so give them a try until you find something that works for you.

I find that the latex juice from garden euphorbia or spurge gets rid of them. The yellow juice from the greater celendine works even better

Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) works to remove moles and other skin growths, even cancerous growths. Use as a topical application only, this plant is dangerous if ingested.

Instructions: Apply bloodroot past on the growth and reapply for about three days. Stop application when growth starts to seperate from healthy skin. Area around growth may bleed slightly and the growth will fall off. Keep wound clean until it heals. The growth may look bad on the third day, but this is normal as the healthy skin rejects the unhealthy skin.
